YOUR SKIN TYPE RECOMMENDATIONS

Thank you so much for joining our community and taking the skin type assessment. Your contributions will help others avoid adverse skin reactions. Below are recommendations for your personal skin type.*

YOUR SKIN TYPE IS:

Your skin type is easy to care for and always looks great. You are lucky in your genes and with good skin care habits, can have age-defying skin. You don’t get acne, redness, dark spots, or dryness. When you reach the age of 40, your skin will be less oily. You may have large pores and blackheads but few acne breakouts.

SKIN CARE DO'S AND DON'TS

Your skin care should focus on ongoing oil control.

  • Find products with oil-absorbing ingredients or ingredients that will reduce oil production.

  • Excess oil will clog pores, stretching them out and making them look larger.

  • Try products (e.g. with beta hydroxy acid) that can penetrate pores and clear them to minimize them.

  • Cleanse your face twice a day.

Applying sunscreen regularly when outdoors is important. Avoid sun exposure for several reasons:

  • Tanning, whether in a tanning bed or outdoors, can intensify oil production, leading to an increased number of  blackheads.

Ingredients to avoid:

Can add to oiliness:
  • Borage seed oil
  • Mineral oil
  • Other oils
  • Petrolatum
  • Sunflower oil
